What was the writing process like for this album?

The writing process involved a lot of random ideas that I then developed into full songs! I worked with various producers from different countries across the world to create the tracks and wrote the lyrics and melodies with American Idol Finalist Robbie Rosen.

What was it like working with producers from all over the world?

Working with so many talents from across the globe was such an amazing experience. All of their brilliant tracks perfectly suited my lyrics and melodies and truly brought the album to life. Therefore a big shout out to my producers who helped me bring this album to life: Nippandab, Robbie Rosen, Little Rain, Toniia, Ricardo Padua, Marin Hoxha and Noble.

Where do you draw most of your inspiration from?

Most of my inspiration comes from my life! Ideas spawn from experiences I’ve had, events I’ve witnessed, and thoughts I’ve pondered.

Do you have a favorite song on the album?

I’m so incredibly proud of every song on the album! But, the very last song that I wrote for the album was Doppelgänger and it’ll always have a special place in my heart. I got the idea while doing my skincare routine and as soon as I thought of it, I knew that it had to be on the album and I knew that it was the last one that I wanted to add.

How did you come up with the title, “Between The Lines”?

As the name suggests, the album takes a deep look at all of the underlying emotions and thoughts found “between the lines.” It focuses on all things unwritten, subliminal, and secret. The songs are all about complicated relationships with people, whether that be a satirical critique of the nature of fame, a self-reflection, or a heartfelt message to a lost friend. I worked with 7 incredible music producers to create these 12 tracks and I’m so excited for everyone to hear!

How did you get into singing/songwriting?

My very first musical influences were the TV shows I grew up watching: Victorious, Big Time Rush, and iCarly. I’ve always loved singing along with my favorite songs and would write my own lyrics about random occurrences in my life! I always knew that I wanted to release my own music so when I got the opportunity to release my first song, “When I Grow Up,” I was thrilled to get involved in the music industry!

How would you say your music has evolved over the years?

It’s evolved a TON! I started making songs when I was 10 so I’ve definitely changed a lot as a person since then. I think my music has matured and grown along with me throughout the years and I’m so proud of my newest songs!

Who would you say were your biggest supporters during this project?

My parents have supported and encouraged me throughout the entire process! I’ve also received the support of my amazing friends as well as the producers who worked on the album with me.

How did you decide what three songs to release first?

I really wanted to give a representative sample of the album so I chose some uplifting songs as well as a bit of a shady one. It was also summer so I knew that I just had to release some fun dance beats for people to play at summer parties!

How would you describe the overall vibe of the album?

Overall, the album covers a wide rang of emotions while maintaining an upbeat vibe! Some of the songs are a bit more nostalgic while others are critical or angry.
