“House of the Dragon” on HBO MAX debuts Opening Credits on Episode 2 ; Game of Thrones Fans Rejoice!

The much awaited episode 2 of HBO MAX’s hit series House of the Dragon debuted a couple hours ago to fanfare with its official opening credits and theme. Game of Thrones fans may recognize the theme from Game of Thrones itself, but it’s the blood spilling opening credits that has the internet abuzz.

The theme is composed by Ramin Djawadi who composed the same theme for Game of Thrones and all of the music for Game of Thrones as well.

House of the Dragon’s Pilot debuted to over 10 million people last Sunday, making it the most watched HBO pilot in history.

House of the Dragon is a Game of Thrones prequel set 300 years before the show.

The show is based on the book “Blood and Fire” by George R. R. Martin.
