Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is sounding the alarm that if things don’t get better in his city, a stay-at-home order will be reinstated. Cases have been rising by over 1,500 per day in Los Angeles County and only keep getting higher. This comes as renters in his city are worried about paying rent due to millions being out of work for so long. The city recently announced an initiative to help for rent relief of up to $2,000 for qualifying residents.
Almost 4,000 people have died in LA County since March due to the Coronavirus.
